A Seattle man was arrested at Newark Liberty International Airport on Thursday after TSA officers found a handgun and ammo in his carry-on bag, officials said.

The gun is the eighth seized this year and sixth in the last 30 days at the airport, a record-setting pace, said Thomas Carter, TSA’s federal security director for New Jersey.
